Zen MF identifies as a psychedelic stoner band, but is made up of members with backgrounds in different genres, from jazz to nu metal to funk. Their concept lies in the calm in the eye of the storm, and seeks through lyrics and different musical stylistics to speak about the troubled world we live in. Heavy distorted riffs and screaming organ meet Floydian passages in unlikely musical alliances for unlikely times.
