Marquis Noir is an avant-garde instrumental band with a unique and electrifying style that blends elements of jazz, funk, and progressive rock. The band is composed of the following members:

Patricia Marchiș on saxophone
Ioana Dîrvă on keyboards
David Vshayn on bass
Sebastian Arvai on drums

Their eclectic fusion of musical genres has helped them gain recognition in the alternative music scene, showcasing their innovative and boundary-pushing approach to music. This combination of jazz, funk, and progressive rock elements likely makes for a dynamic and experimental musical experience.

The project is part of the national cultural Programme “Timișoara - European Capital of Culture 2023” and is funded through the BEGA programme, carried out by the Cultural and Art Center of Timiș County, with funds allocated from the state budget through the Ministry of Culture.
