The EB.Lab workshop is part of the Locks on Bega cultural project and proposes a moving workshop on the Bega, on the deck of the Pelicanu boat, with a route from the Darc Mal terrace to the water plant and the Sânmihai Lock. The workshop proposes the study and observation of aquatic microorganisms and the identification of the ecological state of the Bega water body under the coordination of the ecologist Alexandra Negruț and through sound installations capturing the inaudible sounds of the macrobenthos made by Cătălin Matei (Sillyconductor), along with discussions with invited specialists within the project.

The workshop is a support of the EB.Lab exhibition that takes place in the MV sci-art Center in Timișoara, between 26.09-8.10.2023

The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
